I love Lisa Scottoline and this book met all my expectations. It was yet another one that I could not put down. I felt so sorry for that little boy. He loses his parents and then right after his grandfather hires DiNunzio, the little boy loses him as well. There is really no one fighting for this little boy who has serious issues.
The characters were well written and I did not want to leave them at the end of the book, I became that attached to them.
Usually I'm not a big fan of legal thrillers as there is too much attention and explaining of the law. This one had just enough that it didn't bind you down or put you to sleep. I would definitely recommend reading this.
Huge thanks to St. Martin's Press for approving my request and to Net Galley for providing me with a free e-galley in exchange for an honest review.
