I'll See You in Paris: A Novel - Michelle Gable

#I'llSeeYouinParis  Available 2/9/16  @St.MartinsPress  @Mgablewriter

I really liked this book a LOT. It took a while to get into it. The mother was not very talkative and so the very first part of the book between the daughter and the mother was a bit slow. Once the daughter got out on her own though and she started reading THE BOOK, it just took off. There were numerous interesting characters in the book. The Duchess herself being the most interesting (and she's real, I looked her up, I just had to see what she looked like). You just really felt for the characters, even the mother. I did not want to say goodbye to them at the end. I was seriously wishing I didn't read so fast so I could enjoy them a little more.

Someone in the story went through just about every emotion that a human could go through and I as a reader was right there with them. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this book. I think there is going to be a lot of buzz about it when it does come out. If not, there should be.

Thanks St. Martin's Press for approving my request and Net Galley for providing me with a free e-galley in exchange for an honest review.
