4.5 Stars Oh, this one had me so perplexed! I could not figure out where Ellen knew Eudora from. It bothered me through this whole book. The author really had me perplexed and then I had my "AHA" moment. Had a V-8 and finished the book. HA!! Seriously, this one was good. Two different stories going on. One starts at the end of the 1960's and the other one is during the year 2008. The opening story was a crazy one that continues through the book and provides you with little more of the pieces throughout. The other one, while not as crazy, does the same thing, but occurs practically in present day. The story is very believable and even leaves you with a feeling of major sympathy for one of the main characters. It was very well written and I cannot believe this is a debut novel! I look forward to many more books by this author as I could not put this book down. The puzzle was killing me and then I had to know what was going to be done with this puzzle. Varnish it and hang it, leave it on the table for a while or just tear it up, put it back on the shelf in the box or simply just throw it away? Thanks to Bonnier Publishing and Net Galley for providing me this free e-galley in exchange for an honest review and yet again, introducing me to another new author which I thoroughly enjoyed!
