This one unfortunately just did not really blow my hair back. It was okay. I found myself, sometimes, confused with the characters. Close to the end, I thought he had Autumn up against the wall, then the next chapter, Autumn is running down the halls looking for Ty. That could be my mistake.
All in all, the story was okay. Unfortunately, it's a story that is played out in real life too many times. The characters were well developed and I think the right feelings were felt by all the characters. I just felt it was a little long overall. My heart should have been pumping a lot faster than it was. But then, it is a YA book and maybe that is the reason for it being a little tamer, that I can understand. I did enjoy the book and there were a lot of human emotions and experiences dealt with in the book. I'm not so sure about 14 and up, I think it would depend on the maturity of the child.
Huge thanks to Sourcebooks and Net Galley for providing me with this free e-galley in exchange for an honest review. I do recommend the book for mature young adults.
