Killing Monica - Candace Bushnell

Despite the reviews, I didn't think this was that bad of a book. I mean it wasn't a literary masterpiece, but I found it to be very entertaining. There was a lot of mystery and secrets going on, one you didn't even realize until the very end. I'm pretty sure also that there was a lot of spoofing of the entertainment industry as well.

A story of poverty, riches, special girlfriends who turn into mortal enemies and back again, a man marrying for money and a woman hell bent for revenge are just a few of the subplots going on in this book. I seriously think the mob should have done the concrete block with chains into the river for the revenge, but alas no.

I truly enjoyed this book and found it well worth my time to read. I recommend it.
